3-Point ACT Score Improvement Guarantee & Money-Back Guarantee
At PrepPros, we are so confident that our online courses work that we offer the best online course guarantee anywhere!
For any students who have scored below 30 on an official ACT or a proctored test taken at a tutoring or testing center with a score report, we offer a 3-point score improvement guarantee. We are unable to extend this offer if you have simply taken a test at home as there is no way for us to verify the validity of the scores. For students with scores 30 and above on an official ACT or proctored test taken at a tutoring or testing center with a score report, we offer a score improvement and satisfaction guarantee.
For the guarantee to be valid, students must complete the following items:
Be enrolled in the Ultimate ACT Course for a duration of 3 months or longer before the official ACT testing date.
Complete at least 80% of the lessons in our English, Math, and Reading Courses. If a student is taking the Science Courses, the student must also complete at least 80% of the Science Course.
Complete at least 6 Enhanced Practice ACTs. Students must also review all mistakes on these practice ACTs using the videos in the course.
Purchased a copy of the PrepPros Complete Guide to ACT Math to work through our Math course. The math book is the only material not included in the course and is not eligible for a refund.
Students must take the ACT for the first time within 60 days of completing our Ultimate ACT course and must attempt to take the ACT twice for a refund to be valid if they have only taken a proctored test administered at a tutoring or testing center. This is because students may struggle with the pressure of test day the first time and their scores may not be reflective of their improvement. This constitutes the best guarantee for any online course in test prep.
The 3-point score improvement guarantee refers to a student’s Superscore. If a student’s Superscore improve by 3 points or more, the guarantee has been met even if the individual dates scores do not improve by 3 points or more. For example, if a student scores a 25 on their first ACT and a 27 on their 2nd ACT but their new superscore is a 28, he/she would not qualify for a refund. Any student whose Superscore improve by 3 points or more does not qualify for a refund.
Additionally, for students taking the Science Test, improvements in the Science score can be used to calculate a 3-point improvement on the average of all 4 test scores (English, Math, Reading, Science). Since the Enhanced ACT Superscore is calculated based on the English, Math, and Reading scores, improvements in Science are not included in that calculation. Recalculating scores that average all 4 scores allows us to track Science improvements that are not captured in the ACT’s calculation of the Superscore. For example, if a student scored a 25 on his first ACT (English 25, Math 25, Reading 25, and Science 25) and scored a 27 on the second ACT (English 27, Math 27, Reading 27, Science 31), the superscore would only increase from a 25 to a 27 since Science is not counted. However, this student’s average of all 4 scores increased from a 25 on the first ACT to a 28 when taking the average of all 4 scores. In this instance, the student would have improved by 3 points and would not qualify for the score improvement guarantee.
3-Day Money-Back Guarantee Terms
We additionally offer a 3-day “no questions asked” money-back guarantee. However, if a student completes a significant portion of any of the courses the 3-day period, the guarantee is no longer valid and a refund will not be issued. For example, you cannot work through the entirety of one of our courses or a significant portion of a course in 3 days or less and be granted a refund. The 3 day money-back guarantee is designed for students who have used a small portion of a course and feel that the course does not work for them. The 3-day money back guarantee also does not apply for students who signing up 3 days or less before their official ACT test date. All final decisions regarding refunds are made by PrepPros. We unfortunately have to include this language due to students trying to take advantage of the good faith of this policy.
